Competition Pool
About This Pool
The competition pool will serve as a space for lap swimmers to exercise as well as the home of the Lake Country Phoenix Swim Team. This portion of the facility will support the growth of competitive swimming in the Lake Country area and will be able to host local and regional swim meets.
This pool will be 25 yards x 25 meters and should be able to host meets with as many as 500 spectators per session. We expect these meets to bring competitors and their families to the area, where they will patronize local businesses and stay in local hotels.
Design Considerations
This pool has been designed to support competitive swimmers and divers of all ages and abilities. The flexible configuration will allow swimmers to train in yards or meters depending on the season. The depth of the pool will allow divers to train on both one and three meter springboards and should make the pool fast for competitive swimming.
